Came up to cork to- day to do a bit of shopping with my two son's and called into Porters in Paul Street and left the place utterly humiliated. Let me explain, I went to checkout to do lotto so my son's decided to look around while waiting for me. When i was finished i noticed a woman telling my two boys not to come into the shop again. I asked the woman what was going on and she said i have asked your sons not to come back to the shop so I asked why and she couldn't give me a reason so I asked her are you insinuating that my boys took something and she said, I did not say that, she said they were messing about in one of the baskets, so I said was there items in the basket and she said yes, so I said my boys were looking at the items. She did not answer me and could not still give me a reason for her behavior. Both my son's were very upset by her actions that were totally uncalled for. I am really angry that my boys were stereotyped by her just because they were seen on their own poking around looking at stuff in a basket. I have contacted the guards who advised me to see a solicitor and seek an apology. The next time I visit Cork I will not darken their doorstep. Oh ! my youngest son offered to take everything from his pockets to show her that he took nothing and her reply to him was "I did not say you took anything". I pride myself on the two boy's I have reared, Good scholars, Good manners and good characters who never brought any trouble to our door. I will finish this review by saying, shame to this woman and her behavior.

Keywords: stereotyped
