I moved into Regus in Mahon in 2012.

Firstly there is only about 30 Regus parking spaces available for over 100 people who work in Regus so if you arrive after 8am or leave during the day for a meeting you have zero chance of parking you car. This is a joke as you may expect it in the city centre but not in a suburb where you may go for the very reason that there is parking available.

Broadband is patchy and went down a few time for up to 3 days! Speeds are hit and miss and it's expensive. They also have no IT on site so if there is a problem be prepared to wait.

The hidden charges and fees are the worst part of their service. They do their best to bleed you dry from the moment you walk in the door. If you have gripes with this they give you the multinational line that everything is out of their hands and the head office call the shots. i.e. no flexibility whatsoever

A mandatory 'kitchen amenities' fee is charged at €30 per person per month even if you don't use the tea and coffee that is available there.

The original office price was competitive but beware as once the initial period is finished they will jack the prices way up.

They also charge you a restoration fee of over €200 when you leave even though when I moved in the office wasn't clean. I also moved office while I was there and never saw any remedial works carried out. The cabinets were not even emptied in my new office before I moved in.

The accounts department is a joke. Incorrect invoices, charges for services not used, difficult to contact and overall very frustrating to deal with.

The building is nice an modern but overall there is a lot better value out there. I would not recommend to ANYONE.

We moved in to a two person office in Regus, Mahon, Cork in March 2010. We have never missed a payment and considered ourselves a reliable tenant.

Firstly, their staff and service is excellent, no compaints. However, I have never come across so many hidden charges, stealth fees and disgraceful business practice from an organisation. No point having good local staff if all decisions are made from "corporate" - this is the common scenario.

Broadband is charged for "each" machine connected to the network socket, about 80 Euro per PC. Any configuration of same is charged at 90 Euro per hour. On top of that we were informed that access to the coffee machine was 50 Euro per month. That was 210 Euro before we paid for the office. The office itself seemed reasonable at 300 Euro but the above charges soon raised the sticker price. We were happy to take this as we liked the facility and paid this for 12 months, happy with the service, happy with the facility - as soon as we handed in our notice (3 months in advance) we were informed of all the small print in the contract.

1) You are FORCED to take business continuity for 3 months after your exit at 199 Euro per month. They mention it in the contract but do not specify the charge (this is in a seperate document).

2) Even if your office is in mint condition you MUST pay for a deep clean of the office which works out for us at 280 Euro.

Both of these charges ensure that your deposit is spent (and then some) even though Regus are no longer providing a service. In our instance we do not receive phone calls or post, why would we need business continuity? Even when we tried to explain all of this we got the "corporate" is to blame line, maybe they are? However, I am going to a lot of effort to warn people about the Regus business practice of bleeding customers at every chance they get.

You will not be disappointed by the staff and service but if you are a small business on a budget this place will bleed you dry.
